Infrared saunas offer exposure to the same heat rays that the sun provides, but without the harmful UV rays. Because they are safe for humans, infrared rays are actually used in hospitals to warm baby incubators for premature newborns.

 

 

Please observe the following safety guidelines so you can enjoy our saunas without injury.

1. Make sure to rehydrate after you use an infrared sauna. Drink lots of water and cool down to replace the water you lost through sweat.

2. Moisturize your skin with lotion to reintroduce some of the moisture you lost. Your skin and other tissues dry up in an infrared sauna.

3. Bring a towel with you into the sauna and if possible, just wear a swimsuit.

4. And finally, make sure to use your time to relax, reflect, listen to music, read a book, or socialize. This is your time. Try resting your eyes and mind or meditate for a while.
